The Coveralls protect from Arc flash heat exposure and are constructed of materials that are inherently flame resistant.
- 10.0 oz/yd2 fabric has an arc rating of 29 cal/cm² ATPV.
- Hazard Risk Category 3.
- Nomex® sleeve cuffs.
- Double front closure has Flame-Resistant zipper tape and a Nomex Velcro® safety flap.
- Sewn with flame-resistant thread
- Meets NFPA 70E-2009 and ASTM F-1506-02ae1.
- Note: Personal protective equipment should be chosen to meet or exceed the expected incident energy at a specific work site.
The Arc Flash Fabric is manufactured with Oberon ArcX™ energy absorbing polycarbonate plastic. The 25 calorie Arc flash Hood has a visible light transmission of approximately 57%, which is also know as (VLT). The anti-fog coating in the inner surface allows for improved visibility when working in warm temperatures. The Scratch resistant surface on the face shield improves the life of the face shield compared to most face shields that tend to break or crack. Arc Protective Hoods by Oberon will fit a standard hard hat.
