All fabrics, as well as sewing thread, used in construction of ARC garments are inherently Flame Resistant (FR). Manufactured with Oberon proprietary fabrics will maintain Flame Resistant properties regardless of repeated laundering. Lightest weight arc flash garments in the industry. The Arc 25 (29 cal/cm² ATPV) Flash Bib Overall Pants helps reduce heat stress. All findings, Velcro®, labels, zippers are inherently flame resistant. Meet or exceed the requirements of NFPA 70E-2009 and ASTM F1506-02ae1.

The Arc Flash Fabric is manufactured with Oberon ArcX™ energy absorbing polycarbonate plastic. The 25 calorie Arc flash Hood has a visible light transmission of approximately 57%, which is also know as (VLT). The anti-fog coating in the inner surface allows for improved visibility when working in warm temperatures. The Scratch resistant surface on the face shield improves the life of the face shield compared to most face shields that tend to break or crack. Arc Protective Hoods by Oberon will fit a standard hard hat.
